A doctor has provided 1 answer

Homemade saline drop: If your baby can't eat because his nose is so stuffed or if he's working harder to breathe (look at his chest without close on and watch him breath) then you should seek care from your doctor. Saline drops are: 8 ounces of water (1 measuring cup) with 1/2 teaspoon of non-iodized table salt and a pinch of baking soda. Use a fresh batch every time. Only use two drops at a time.
