LDL/HDL Gluc BP etc: Artery ds: dominant human behavior, typically starts in later childhood, though asymptomatic for decades; artery plaque in wall & wall enlarges, not shrink. Artery narrowing results from plaque rupture & clots. Primary drivers are lipoproteins (not cholesterol, made by every cell/part of membrane), e.g. Nl to ↑ldl + nl to ↓hdl, nl to ↑ed sugar (optimal hba1c 5.0%), nl to ↑ed systolic BP smoke etc.
