Hello, Screening : Hello, screening lab tests are routine, and sometimes include screens for bloodborne diseases like hepatitis and hiv. Like getting a mammogram before routine breast surgery, consider the value of knowing that you have a bloodborne condition before you embark on a complicated surgery; if the test is positive delaying the surgery to receive the proper care can be lifesaving.
