It's : It's impossible to give you a definitive answer without seeing your feet and doing a basic neurological examination, but it's been my experience that numbness of the pinky toes, especially when both toes are involved, is usually a shoe fitting issue. Have these symptoms occurred soon after buying a new pair of shoes or wearing shoes you haven't worn in a while? Also, sometimes structural changes develop over time, like hammertoes for instance, that would put pressure on superficial nerves that can produce numbness. There are other causes, of course, including some kind of nerve impingement further up the legs or low back, and even early onset anemia or a vitamin deficiency can cause this. The best advice i can give you is to go see a podiatrist. I say podiatrist first, because a podiatrist would be the one to see if its a shoe fit issue. If it turns out to be a nerve problem, a neurologist is the next stop, and if it's due to anemia or a vitamin deficiency, your primary care physician would be the one to handle that.
