There : There is a disorder called meralgia paresthetica that is caused by pressure on the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve. This condition tends to happen in overweight or heavy persons. Tight belts or tightly fitting clothing especially if the person also has diabetes can cause this problem. Try losing weight, loosening up the garments and see a neurologist if symptoms does not improve over several weeks. See the link below.
