A doctor has provided 1 answer

The : The bottom line is that you should not have to suffer. Having a period after six months can cause severe cramping and pain. Dependng on your situation you may want to try birth control pills to normalize your period. As far as your pain is concerned, it has likely passed, however please let your doctor know that Ibuprofen 800mg was not adequate and you will need something else in the case that you have this type of pain again. Good luck.
