Radiesse (dermal fillers) : Radiesse (dermal fillers) is such a great product and will provide you with the fullness you desire in your cheeks which lasts over a year. Radiesse (dermal fillers), like any dermal filler, requires a needle to apply it to the desired area. You will have swelling that will last a couple of days but ordinarily it is localized to the cheek. Make sure you apply ice to the cheeks the day of the procedure and there are some good arnica gels you can use that help reduce the swelling. The long term benefits greatly out way the short term minor swelling you may experience! best regards and enjoy your more youthful cheeks and face! dr. Smith.
