Try : Try putting ice on the swollen areas and take anti-inflammatory medicine, like ibuprofen-if you can. This swelling is relatively normal, especially around the eyes. It should only last a few days a most. If it doesn't resolve in 72 hours after injections, get back to your injecting doctor.

It : It is absolutely normal to experience some swelling after the injection of most fillers, including radiesse(r). The swelling usually is around the area of injection but certainly can involve adjacent areas, especially if the areas are thin and easily distended such as the eyeloids. The swelling is usually at its maximum within the first 24-36 hrs and subsides fairly rapdily. The important factors to minimize the swelling are to keep elevated and to use cold compresses over the area. It is especially important that you do not massage the area of injection as this can cause spreading of the filler.

I : I cannot say that eye swelling is impossible when Radiesse (dermal fillers) is injected into the cheeks but i've never seen this and it is extremely unlikely when done by an experienced specialist.

It : It is possible to get a little swelling near your eyes in that situation. If you get ice on the sites immediately after the injections, you should not see much swelling, if any.

The : The swelling experienced after skin filler treatment (such as radiesse) typically remains in the area treated. If the cheeks area treated you may find some swelling in the lower eyelid region, though. You can minimize the swelling experienced by applying ice and elevation your head while sleeping for the first few days after treatment.

Radiesse (dermal fillers) : Radiesse (dermal fillers) is such a great product and will provide you with the fullness you desire in your cheeks which lasts over a year. Radiesse (dermal fillers), like any dermal filler, requires a needle to apply it to the desired area. You will have swelling that will last a couple of days but ordinarily it is localized to the cheek. Make sure you apply ice to the cheeks the day of the procedure and there are some good arnica gels you can use that help reduce the swelling. The long term benefits greatly out way the short term minor swelling you may experience! best regards and enjoy your more youthful cheeks and face! dr. Smith.
