I just done with my period last week, now i am having brown discharge, do i have a yeast infection? if not what is this? i haven't tried to go to my doctor yet, but i don't know if it is serious, so i don't want to. please help!

Brown : Brown discharge can simply be old blood, it is common at the end of the menstrual cycle. On the other hand it could be an infectious process (i.E bacterial vaginosis). Yeast is usually characterized by a thick, white, cottage cheese like discharge with vaginal itching and irritation. If the discharge persists and/or you have vaginal irritation or odor please see your doctor. Good luck.
