If : If you have been trying for 1 year then it is time for you to see your ob/gyn or a reproductive endocrinologist to start an infertility evaluation. The initial evaluation is simple and can be completed in one cycle. It involves a semen analysis, ovulation monitoring usually with an ovulation predictor kit, an evaluation of your fallopian tubes called an hsg, and, depending on your age, testing of your hormones for signs of running out of eggs.
