A member asked:

How would i know if the progesterone iud is in the right place?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Feel for the strings: Strings are attached to your iud. Reach into your vagina until you feel something hard like the end of your nose. This is the cervix or birth canal. You should be able to feel the strings (2) as you move your finger around the cervix like a clock . If you can't feel the strings (they may curl into the cervix), ask your doctor to find it by ultrasound. Strings = proper placement.
