Even : Even though bladder infections are rarer in men than women, it is definitely possible. Men more commonly get bladder infections from sexually transmitted diseases such as chlamydia or gonorrhea as opposed to fecal bacteria which is what typically infects women. If you are having penile discharge and pain, you should be seen by a doctor as soon as possible for diagnosis and treatment. Since different bacterial causes require different antibiotic treatments, your doctor may want to collect a urine sample. Good luck!
