It : It sounds like you have a persistent ovarian cyst. These are not typically related to tubal ligation surgeries. A 3-4 centimeter cyst is quite large and could definitely cause discomfort. A gynecologist should be following your cyst with repeat ultrasounds to be sure it resolves. There are medications, such as oral contraceptives, that can help in some situations to avoid future cysts.
