Studies : Studies have shown a genetic link with endometriosis. It does not mean that because a parent has endometriosis that the child necessarily will. However, the genetic predisposition would make it more likely.

Related: We do know that endometriosis can run in families. If you mother or sister has endometriosis, then you are more likely to develop endometriosis.
