It : It is very common for me to perform breast augmentation at the same time a tummy tuck is performed. In fact it is advisable since the implants can be easily introduced for breast augmentation through the tummy tuck incision without the need for the breasts to be cut. Good luck from nyc. Yes: Combined procedures are common. It is important that an experienced plastic surgeon perform the procedure. Longer procedures have a slightly increased risk for complications such as infection and dvt. But a well trained surgeon will be able to assess and minimize these risks so that you can have a safe and satisfying outcome.
