Hello. : Hello. I think it can be frightening to consider talking about past events and how it effects you. If you talk about it, it brings up memories. If you bring up memories of trauma, it can cause unpleasant emotions. I do recommend seeing a good therapist. A therapist who listens to you and who you feel heard by. A therapist who can help time how you deal with past traumas- not pushing you to go too fast, but who also encourages you not to avoid important thoughts of feelings. If you ignore it, it will likely continue to impact you, even if you aren't conciously aware of it. I hope that you do decide to obtain treatment. Take care.
