This : This is definitely not a safe thing for anyone to be doing. Ambien, (zolpidem) clonazepam, and Estazolam all work very much the same way. So, it's as if one were taking three times the normal dose of any one of them. Mirtazapine and Chlorpromazine act in a somewhat different manner, but they too are drugs act as central nervous system depressants. If one is taking all five of these medications together, there is a very real risk of death due to their ability to supress breathing. That being said, all of these drugs have some dependence possibility, so if she has been taking them regularly for a long time, it could be dangerous for her to stop them suddenly. Bottomline here is that this combination of medications is so potentially dangerous, and the consequence of stopping any or all of them abuptly is also so grave, that she should go to the nearest emergency room, taking the pill bottles with her, before anything serious can happen.

Talk to her doctor: There's no way that i can guess how complex your mother's condition may be. And she may have arrived at the current treatment regimen slowly, effectively, under close medical supervision. Therefore, you need to find out if she is dosing her medication precisely per doctors orders, then discuss any potential consequences of therapy with that physician.
