Mucocele: Rupture of minor salivary gland or salivary gland duct in your lips will cause the salivary deposit into soft tissue and resulting in bluish or colorless swollen ball which is called mucocele. Mucocele although painless can cause lip biting during function. Schedule your mucocele removal with your dentist/surgeon. Make sure to post op to check any other mucocele developed in the area of surgery.
