If you could move the finger well after the injury, chances are that everything's fine and you just need more time. To be sure you need to be evaluated by a hand surgeon. Most people i meet that have a problem like yours are healing well, but the pain is making them protective, which actually slows their recovery. Recovery can be quite counterintuitive.
