Should different topical ointments be ever mixed? can you tell me what side effects/if any could happen if you mix ammonium lactate cream, ketoconazal shampoo, betamethasone ointment, clobetasol propionate ointment?

The : The Betamethasone and the clobetasol are both steroids, therefore it is probably not a good idea to mix these together since steroids can cause thinning of the skin when used in high amounts or over prolonged periods of time. As far as the the other two ointments, there is no interaction as far as i can tell from my research; however you should consult the prescribing doctor or your local pharmacist to be sure. Take care.
