Hello. : Hello. I can’t diagnose your condition. However, onycholysis can occur after trauma to the nail. The nail becomes loose from the nail bed and can turn yellow or white. It is recommended that the nail be clipped short, that you don’t scrape under the nail and that you keep the nail dry. There are other possible causes for onycholysis but it sounds like yours was traumat related. Take care.

Nail problem: You have a damaged nail growth plate. See a dermatologist, but it probably can't be 'fixed'. Try some quality vitamin supplements which might help.
