I : I am not aware of low Dopamine levels directly causing cardiac problems. As far as autonomic dysfunction in regards to the cardiovascular system goes, there is a direct relationship, that being orthostatic hypotension. The symptoms of orthostatic hypotension include lightheadedness, palpitations, weakness, and tremors when attempting to stand up. Some people may also experience visual problems, pounding headaches, fatigue and inability to concentration. Some patients even report fainting when attempting to stand. This topic is definitely worth investigating further. Maybe there is research going on looking at Dopamine in relation to cardiac function. That would be interesting. Take care.

Unlikely: Low dopamine levels in Parkinson's Disease are specifically related to loss of dopamine producing neurons in the Basal Ganglia of the brain and does not show up on regular blood testing. An isolated low dopamine on blood tests is not in itself is usually meaningless as it is a precursor to epinephrine. It is usually measured to look for high levels of adrenal hormones. What panel was done/why?
