Unfortunately : Unfortunately there is no way around this problem, the issue here is Cellulose (fiber found in raw vegetables) this is a carbohydrate that is very difficult for the human body to digest. For this reason, if a lot is consumed the result is gas, bloating and nausea. You should also be aware that for this reason many of the valuable nutrients in raw vegetables are actually not being absorbed by the body, which defeats the intended purpose of eating this way. I believe that steaming your vegetables would be better on your digestive system, and would give your body more nutrients. On the other hand, you can try using a digestive aid before consuming raw vegetables. Examples of naturally occurring digestive enzymes include aloe vera and papain. These can be found at your local vitamin and herb retailer. Good luck!
