Hello, : Hello, i wonder if what you are referring to is inflammation of your subauricular lymph node. The lymphatic channels drain tissues of debris, old white blood cells and bacteria. When handling an area of infection, the nodes can become enlarged and tender. If it is a lymph node, it would be important to determine why is it becoming inflammed. It could be a dental issue or an ear/nose/ throat issue. In that area, that can also be embryonic residual matter that could be an issue. I suggest that you get it checked out.
