Its : Its important to know your age andfor how long these symptoms have been present . Wrist and ankles are more likely to be affected in inflammatory, deposition and cristal arthritis. It is important to know the length of the morning stiffness. On the other hand x rays might not show changes early in the disease and only after several months. If the problem is inflammatory arthrtis , you need to see a rheumatologist to define what kind of arhrtis you have , and decide upon tretamnet , massaging , wrapping or shoe inserts are not treatment that might work in patient with inflammatory arthritis.. Consult with a rheumatologist is important to defifine the nature of the disease and decide on adecuade treament.

Arthritis: Prescription voltaren gel or over-the-counter glucosamine sulfate with chomdroitin cream/gel is a good topical anti-inflammatory and joint lubricating ointment, respectively. The voltaren gel has less organ system side effects than motrin, naprosyn and celebrex (celecoxib).
