Hello. : Hello. I can't diagnose your condition. But it could be a viral gastroenteritis. Water is very important, even if you can only tolerate sipping it slowly. Stay away from acidic beverages (like tomato or orange juice) and caffiene (like cola or coffee). Clear beverages may be helpful for 12 to 24 hours. Try eating a small amount of crystalized ginger. Or make a ginger tea. Slice fresh ginger and place in a tea pot. Pour boiling water over it and allow it to steep for at least five minutes or longer. You can lightly sweeten with honey if desired. This is a chinese remedy that has been used for hundreds of years. When you add in solids, avoid things like meats, dairy products and fibrous vegetables as well as spicy or highly fatty foods. Your pain may be from dry heaves. You have not mentioned bowel movements. Hopefully, you are having them. If this does not remit in the next few days, recommend that you speak with your doctor. Should you develop severe abdominal pain, you needs to be seen more urgently. I hope you feel better soon. Take care.
