I : I was not able to find any reports of harmful interactions between these two drugs. This however, does not mean that no interactions can ever occur since, as a general rule, the number of side effects is directly proportional to the number of medications that a person is taking. All drugs have side effects and taking two drugs could result in more side effects than taking one drug. It would be a good idea to discuss this question with the physician who prescribed Ritalin (methylphenidate) for you.

Medication - ritalin (methylphenidate): Ritalin is a form of amphetamine or 'speed' and as such can have harmful side-effects such as skipped heart beats, and in high amounts worse side effects that 'yes' do include death.
