If : If a patient has new or worsening headaches, change in pattern of headaches, or other symptoms associated with headaches such as dizziness or jerking, then seeing their doctor for a medical evaluation is appropriate. If you are awakening with headaches, also checking the carbon monoxide level in the house is reaonable.
