Neither: This child needed health care yesterday. A fever is nothing to ignore in a child. Ever. A fever that continues makes it even more urgent. Please get this child to health care now.

Depends: Headache and fever can be related to diseases as serious as meningitis or encephalitis. So if your child looks particularly ill or worsens quickly taken him immediately to see MD. If the choice is a phone call to a doctor who knows your child - definitely call... why not? If your child looks great a trial of tylenol (acetaminophen) is in order.
