Your : Your "funny bone" is your ulnar nerve at the elbow located in an area knoiwn as the cubital tunnel. The cubital tunnel is a tight band of tissue that holds the ulnar nerve in place and prevents it from sliding around when you move the elbow. The ulnar nerve contains nerve fibers that give snesation to the little and ring fingers and the small muscles of the hand and several forearm and forearm based finger muscles the extent of the bruise determines the time frame for this injury. Prior issues wit the nerve, genreal health, age, diabetes, circulation, smoking and other things all affect nerve recovery.
