Back : Back pain in pregnancy, especially the third trimester is very common. However, the fact that it's so painful to the point that you cannot walk is extremely worrisome. You need to inform your OB about this pain. You may also need to see an orthopedist and possibly a chiropractor. I know you may be thinking chiropractor, really?!? Yes there are chiropractors trained to treat pregnant women since back pain is very common due to the shift in bones due to the pressure of the pregnancy. There are safe maneuvers that may help alleviate your pain. Please discuss this with your doctor. All the best.
