Per : Per the centers for disease control and prevention (cdc), every year there are approximately 4.6 million new cases of human papillomavirus in people ages 15 through 24. I read that at least 50 percent of sexually active men and women contract hpv at some point in their lives.

Very: In some of the research leading to development of the vaccine, random tests of college women showed as many as 70% had HPV antibodies.Other prevalence studies vary, but you need to know you are not alone. Most men & women never know they have it unless tested & it transfers easily. Other than give you more motivation to get pap smears on schedule, this is just a nuisance.
