HPV : Hpv is transmitted through genital contact, (vaginal sex, anal sex and oral sex). It is not passed by inanimate objects.

Possible scar: Hpv is transmitted sexually but should not have anything to do with the described scenario. Part of the question is missing but sounds like the area that was cut looks strange. Aside from a wound that has not healed which is not likely she may have formed a keloid which is a very raised scar and a cosmetic problem only. An examination by medical provider can easily determine if this is the case.
