A member asked:

Swollen glands by vaginal area and lower stomach pain

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There : There are glands that are called Bartholin's cysts that can become swollen in the labia. These can get infected and sometimes respond to antibiotics or sometimes need to be drained. There are also lymph nodes in the femoral area by the vagina that can be swollen from a variety of causes. If a patient has swollen glands then they need a medical evaluation to determine the cause of the swelling so that appropriate treatment can be undertaken.
