Swelling : Swelling of the outer portion of the vagina, or the labia, can be caused by different issues. Chemical irritation such as from bubble bath or chemicals, or even tight clothes, infections, or even allergic reactions can cause this. You can try advil or tylenol (acetaminophen) or sitz baths, but if it is quite swollen or painful, then you will need to see a doctor or nurse practitioner for an evaluation. I am sorry that you are so uncomfortable and i hope that you get relief soon.
