I am a 66 yr old male. yellow urine. now in the morning there is a bright red spot on my underwear (urinary track) what? only has happened in the last two nights. i am in good health, tennis, golf etc.

Hello. : Hello. I don't know if the red spot was located in the area near the anus. There could be bleeding somewhere along your urinary tract. There may be irritation of the urethra or a structure that is more internal. I suggest you see your physician, who can do a urinalysis. Even if you don't see visable blood in your urine; there is a possibility of microscopic hematuria (blood noted under the microsope). If you do have blood in urine, your doctor can work this up. By the way, sometimes even men who are very healthy can get blood in their urine after hard exercise (i.e., like running).
