The : The labia minora are very sensitive and can react for a variety of reasons, causing swelling. Friction from intercourse, irritation from chemicals, or an infection can cause swelling and discomfort. If there is any associated discharge, lesions, pain, or fever, then infection should be considered and the patient should be evaluated. Taking advil or tylenol (acetaminophen) and sitz baths may relieve the discomfort.
