My girlfriend recently took a morning after pill on february 19th. we are once more needing to take it again. is it safe to take it again so soon? is she still protected fro the first pill? just before she took the pill she had gotten off her period 3 day

Yes, : Yes, it is safe to take it again, but she needs to get on long term birth control or you should have a long-term birth control method in place. She should also see a doctor about her nausea as she may need medication for this and please be sure she isn't already pregnant before taking the plan b. No, she isn't protected from the first pill. Methods to consider are condoms which prevent infection also, oral contraceptive tablets, Implanon which inserts into the arm and lasts 3 years, and Mirena (levonorgestrel) which is inserted into the uterus and lasts 5 years, and of course there is always a vasectomy.

Morning after pills: Sorry - but I don't know the time between when your girlfriend last used emergency contraception & when she was going to use it again. Emergency contraceptive pills can be taken safely repeatedly BUT they are really only designed for failures in other forms of contraception and they are not as protective as regular oral contraceptives.
