Pregnancy terminatio: A 1st trimester termination can either be accomplished medically or surgically. An antiprogesterone is given orally in the office followed up in 48hrs by prostaglandins. The surgical method is accomplished either in office or hospital as a D&C either under local anesthesia or under general. Either method works well and accomplishes the goal of pergnancy termination.
