Dermabrasion: Yes, you will have swelling after dermabrasion, as well as raw skin that will need to be covered and treated for 7-10 days post procedure. Make up can generally be worn after 10 days to cover up the redness that will be left after dermabrasion. This redness will last from several weeks to months post procedure. This should only be performed by a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist.
