This : This is a very common area of enlarged lymph nodes. They are like guard posts that the body used to remove impurities from the blood. The most common cause of enlargement is inflammation or infection. In this area they are likely enlarged due to something on the scalp (any type of skin inflammation). Iti s common for people to get enlarged nodes in the neck with dental or throat infections. These lumps should decrease in size over time as the inflammation goes away. If they continue to grow they show be evaluated. Another cause of lumps could be sebaceous cysts and othe skin conditions. If they worsen or do not resolve within 7-10 days, they should be evaluated.
