Puffy/swollen left eyelid for six months my left eyelid has been puffy and swollen for six months. alleregy meds haven't done a thing for me. i went to dr and it isnt pink eye or anything of that nature. the puffiness is now on my left side of my face too

Many : Many many things can cause swollen eyelids (lid edema). Strange that it is just on one side. If has ben going on for six months, it is probably not an infection. It could be an allergic reaction to something. The confusing part is the one-sided-ness. I would see a local specialist to have it looked at and evaluated.

Your : Your story sounds suspicious for allergy related disease. If the eye itches, then that would be consistent with this diagnosis. Unilateral disease can occur if you sleep on that side and your eye is being exposed to allergens on your pillow. Other issues (floppy eyelid syndrome, thyroid disease, orbital issues, etc) can cause similar findings so i would recommend seeing an ophthalmologist for a complete evaluation.
