I woke up with chest pain and every once in awhile a dry cough, is this a chest cold? i am 26, female, my body feels a little weak (like it usually does when i feel sick). my daughter has had a cough for 4 days so i may have gotten it from her.

It : It is possible that it is the same infection as your daughter, that has affected your lungs. That would commonly be called a "chest cold", so the answer on that is it could certainly be. Since you are having pain and cough, please make an appointment with your doctor. If you have worsening symptoms, fever, productive cough, or any shortness of breath then you will have to go to the er.
