Radiesse (dermal fillers) : Radiesse is a suspension of extremely small perfectly spherical calcium particles (calcium hydroxylapatite). It is very common for the individual administering the injection to massage the material once it is placed in the general area. Radiesse is often placed deeper than the other dermal fillers and the lumpiness or "string of pearls" is not as common. As with the other types of dermal fillers it is perfectly fine to gently massage the area for the first 24 hours. After a day the body will have started to encapsulate the material and the ability to move it around will significantly diminish.
