Having : Having breast implants causes the overlying breast tissue and skin to stretch to accommodate the implant. When breast implants are removed, there will almost certainly be some degree of loose skin and tissue that results. For this reason, many women who have their breast implants removed will also have a breast lift operation to optimize the appearance of their own remaining breast volume. Breast lift surgery improves the shape and position of your breasts, but leaves new scars. Your board certified plastic surgeon can help give you a realistic expectation of how much looseness you can expect, and whether he/she would recommend a breast lift operation if you desire. All the best, dr. Skourtis.

If : If your implants are very large or you have had them for a long time, there may be some looseness to the breast skin, especially if the implants are sub glandular. In most average sized implant removal the breast skin retracts quite well after a week or so.

Depends.: What breasts look like after explantation  depends on several factors such as: the quality of skin elasticity (the better the elasticity the better the skin will bounce back),  the size of the implants used (the larger the implant the more trouble you may have with redundant skin), and the amount of breast tissue present at this time (which may have changed since the time of your breast surgery).
