You : You can produce a green to yellow mucous when you have tonsilitis. However if it is increasing in production then maybe the antibiotics are not working. Often times viral infections are to blame and antibiotics do not work. If by now your symptoms are unchanged, you should see your doctor for a follow up appointment.
