Blood : Blood in the stool, on the toilet paper, or in the toilet after a bowel movement are all reasons to see a doctor. You may be dealing with internal and/or external hemorrhoids, a rectal fissure (tear in the rectum). This seems more likely since this all started after a forced bowel movement. Depending on your history, the examination, and diagnostic testing results (i.e. Occult blood stool test), your doctor may want to order a test called a colonoscopy (procedure where a camera is used to visualize your colon). Lastly with bleeding comes anemia, your doctor should also screen you for this. All the best.
