A member asked:

Is having a cycle important? i haven't had a decent period in almost my whole life....what can be wrong with me?... i'm 23 yrs old...

You : You need to have a complete gynecological evaluation. I am assuming that you are sure you are not pregnant now; if it is at all possible then take a pregnancy test. It is not normal to not have a normal period by age 23. There may be a hormonal cause that needs an evaluation. If your weight is too high or too low it can affect cycles. Please make an appointment with a gynecologist for a complete examination and evaluation.
