I : I agree with your concern. That amount of bleeding sounds very atypical. As it has not improved, please be seen again. You may need a blood test to be sure you aren't getting anemic. Please be sure your pap smear is up to date. It may even be recommended that you have an endometrial biopsy if this continues (biopsy of the lining of the uterus). There are other treatments to control your bleeding if needed. If you have continued heavy bleeding, feel light-headed or faint, or have pain then you must be seen as an emergency.
