Bioform : Bioform medical inc., the manufacturer of radiesse, strictly warns against the use of the product in the lips. Moreover, Radiesse does not have fda-approval for use in the lips. When injected into lips, Radiesse can trigger an inflammatory response, leading to the formation of palpable and sometimes visible nodules, lumps, and bumps, which could occasionally lead to permanent deformation of the lips. Juvederm, perlane, restylane, (dermal fillers) or fat grafting would be a much better for lips because these products are softer and more pliable. Radiesse; on the other hand, gives very satisfying results when injected into deeper fatty tissue layers, such as the cheeks, chin, and the nasolabial folds.
